Project Details:

Raukawa Heights is a residential development of 33 architecturally designed 3-bedroom townhouses nestled in the Lower Hutt suburb of Stokes Valley. The Avon glass balustrade supplied by Supreme Balustrades was the ideal choice for the decks of these modern homes. Avon’s sleek appearance gives unobstructed views for the occupants, and onlookers can appreciate the unique architectural style and design of the build. Avon is an aluminium framed glass balustrade from UNEX that is available with any combination of rail type and powder coat finishes to suit any situation. At Raukawa Heights, the PRR rectangular top rail was chosen to give the Avon balustrade a minimalist look and practical functionality compatible with the development’s contemporary aesthetics. The aluminium posts and rails were powder coated in Dulux’s colour Grey Friars or New Denim Blue to match the exterior metal cladding and roofing of each block. Slatted aluminium panels were also powder coated to match and these were installed on the decks between the townhouses for privacy. With a multi-stage development like this timing is very important and Supreme Balustrades worked closely with the developer Raukawa Heights Limited to co-ordinate the fabrication and installation of the balustrades and screens as each block of townhouses has progressively been built.
